My desktop

With holidays getting close, I have decided to update my desktop. I didn't want anything creepy, but also not so cute that it would make me sick. I found a good compromise. Look for more, I think this is something I can blog about.

I know ....

That I am feeling much better about my son. After pretty much sleeping away the last couple of days, he decided he felt well enough to eat pancakes, drink a goodly amount of liquids, and take only children's Tylenol today. Woo Hoo!!!!!

Though it has been quiet with him here, I really miss his chattering. Wait...did I just say that? I think I need to see a doctor now....I am really losing it!

Ah, yes....

The trials of having another child go through having their tonsils out. This time it was my youngest.

All went well, and he came out just fine. It was when he first woke that startled his father....he woke up screaming for his dad, and then for me. Imagine the chuckle I got, having the phone call...."Yes, could you please come to the hospital...your son wants you now."

Yes, I stayed home. I hate hospitals, the sound, the smell, the everything. So his dad went with him. I got to snuggle a 50 lb. boy on my lap for an hour or so after he woke. My legs are still numb from that...lol. Now he is home with me, playing games, and generally being happy. I am just happy that it is all done with. Man.....now i gotta deal with him taking his meds.....lol.
